Colonial Hills United Methodist School
School Notes Overview:
Colonial Hills United Methodist School was established in 1970. We have spent all of our 38 years specializing in early childhood. Our focus is for each child to have the opportunity to grow creatively, physically, emotionally, academically and spiritually. We maintain small class sizes and value a developmental approach in all we do. The Christian way of life is modeled on a daily basis and the children attend chapel services weekly. The latest research validated our mission statement that children learn best when they feel safe and loved. A good preschool education is much more than learning the ABC's. As one of our alumni parents once said, "Colonial Hills School teaches children the three S's of Socialization, Self-esteem and Skills for life." Our highly trained excellent staff loves, nurtures and enriches each and every child. The children not only participate in a center-based, developmentally appropriate hands-on curriculum, they also attend special classes in Music, Spanish, Motor Skills, and Computer. Many on-campus events and field trips enrich our curriculum. As the children discover and explore, they experience the joy of learning. ...
