Teachers work hand-in-hand with students to set them up for success.

I attended Hillcrest School from 1st to 8th grade. At my previous school, I struggled to pay attention and to behave. I was quickly labeled a "problem child" and was frequently removed from class. I was soon diagnosed with ADHD and changed schools to Hillcrest. The smaller class size and careful attention paid to me as an individual made all the difference in the world. I was able to function in a class for the first time, the different approaches to learning really helped me get a grasp on more abstract concepts in Math and English courses. After 8th grade I moved to a college prep school, somewhere I never thought I would be. Hillcrest really changed my life for the better and I urge anyone with children who are struggling with ADHD, Dyslexia, or any other kind of learning difference to check it out! Betty and the rest of the faculty are wonderful and caring people who always put the children first. Hillcrest is a safe, welcoming and fun environment to be a kid.

Our son has been at Hillcrest for 2 years, before coming to Hillcrest he was homeschooled for 2 + years sincein public school he fell through the cracks due to his dyslexia, ADD. He hated school because he was bulliedby his peers for not being able to read at grade level and he disliked the public school teachers he had because they were condescending, mean and didn't help him as he struggled with learning and did nothing to discipline the behavior of his peers. Since being at Hillcrest our son has gained confidence and enjoys school, he has made close friends and the teachers are kind, professional, and supportive, they make him feel like he can achieve anything he puts his mind to. We are very grateful to the Hillcrest School staff for making a difference in our son's life and helping him enjoy learning and for giving us the peace of mind that our sonis in a safe caring environment.

We are thrilled with the experience we have had with a daughter at Hillcrest! They really focus on her individual needs and we have seen HUGE improvement! She loves school, she loves her teachers, and she is actually disappointed on weekends and holidays that she can't go to school. We can't say enough about what Hillcrest has done for her confidence!

My son graduated from Hillcrest School after 9 years. He attended public school in K-4 grade but moved to Hilcrest School in 5th.
Without Hillcrest School our lives would have been different, his path would have been different. He starts college in Austin, Tx in the fall. We are so very thankful for Hillcrest School and what they were able to provide.
