School Notes:

  • Our goal at Meridian School is to give every student the opportunity to learn and excel in a safe and nurturing environment. We hope to foster a love for learning and inspire each student to reach his or her highest potential. We expect all our students to develop themselves in seven key areas: English language, mathematical thinking and problem solving, historical awareness, science knowledge and reasoning, foreign language proficiency, performance and appreciation of the fine arts, and physical fitness. We believe that each of these content areas is essential for a complete education. We utilize the Utah State Core Curriculum as a general guideline for course subject matter, and then we expand on those standards and content to enrich the mind and spirit of every student. Our obligation is to make sure all our students are given a balanced and thorough introduction to these important, classical content areas. Our students are preparing for higher education, and life as an innovative thinker and contributor in their community.
