Every young person, being completely unique and of supreme individual worth, thrives and blossoms in character and intellect in an environment where he is unconditionally accepted by his peers and instructors. An educational system, then, should be personal in focus and caring in tone. Learning groups should be small enough to allow time for many individual expressions of thought and feeling. Such classroom settings facilitate mutual acceptance, cooperation and support among students ofvarying ages and backgrounds. An effective system of educating the young must offer a rich variety of resources which illuminate the entire expansive range of human endeavor.
