St Michael Catholic School

49 Walnut St, Brattleboro, VT, 05301-0530
St. Michael's is a non-profit, parish school which provides for the total education of its students, from preschool through grade 8. It deals, as do most schools, in the intellectual, emotional, social, aesthetic, and athletic training of children. But its greatest difference is that it does this in light of the Catholic Christian message. St. Michael's School provides its students with a strong background in morals and discipline through the dynamic Catholic spirit of the parish community.

School Reviews:

  • Recommended February 28,2012 - My non catholic child has attended since Pre K and aboslutely adores the school. The children are all from families who really care about education and that produces a serious educational environment where learning is done cheerfully and successfully without the usual distractions of the public elementary schools. Academically my child is ahead of the same age kids who attend public school and special programs are available for the gifted children who want to take advantage of them. The staff is totally competent and the school has the look and feel of traditional education where the emphasis is the academic achievement of the children. The religious education is serious but tasteful and not overbearing for non catholics. When people ask me about it my most heartfelt response is that the education at St Michaels is an absolute steal.*-Posted by Parent *
