School Notes Overview:

Corpus Christi Early Childhood Center (ECC) is one of two campuses of Corpus Christi School. The ECC program encompasses preschool (minimum age is 3) through kindergarten. An educational staff consisting of teachers, instructional assistants and daycare providers is maintained. Staff members are chosen on the basis of their concern for children, their training, and their commitment to the ministry of Christ. Children learn social and academic skills in a faith-based environment.

We use a multi-sensory hands-on learning approach to teach fine motor skills, auditory and visual learning using cassettes, books, songs, computers, and art. Free play, story time, show and tell, music, crafts, and outdoor play fill the students' morning. Music class is offered weekly. Computers, games and manipulative toys are used to teach the pre-reading readiness skills of number, shape and letter recognition.

We offer Christmas and Easter Break as well as Summer camp programs as well with arts, crafts, games and field trips that are both educational and entertaining.
