Collegiate spotted St. Catherine’s a goal then rallied for a 3-1 victory in the VISAA Division I field hockey tournament final yesterday at Collegiate’s Robins Campus in Goochland County. Despite the cold, wet and wind, the Collegiate and St. Catherine’s field hockey teams warmed to the task in the semifinals of the Virginia Independent Schools Division I tournament. St. Catherine’s, runner-up to Flint Hill in the VIS Division I state tennis tournament the past two years, gained revenge with an 8-1 romp yesterday on St. Christopher’s courts and reached the semifinals.
