St. Charles School
School Notes Overview:
At St Charles School, our mission is to provide Catholic primary education in a parochial setting to a diverse student body. With grades from k through 8 and a curriculum ranging from quality preparation for higher learning to remedial programs where indicated, St. Charles School aims to educate the whole child, spiritually, intellectually, ethically, morally, socially, and physically. Central to the school's mission is the belief that the priority of Catholic education is to help students seek a deep and personal commitment to Jesus Christ. Our philosophy begins with St. Charles School's commitment to the integration of sound Christian principles of faith and action with a strong scholastic program designed to meet the challenging demands of the modern world. Individual differences and needs are kept constantly in sight in every aspect of instruction. The faculty aims to teach and live the Gospel message of Christ and to develop within each child the skills needed for his or her development, spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. The faculty aims to build a community based on Jesus' command to love one another. By living and learning in such a faith community, the child becomes an educated, concerned, and caring adult member of the whole human community. Finally, the faculty aims to serve the community through prayer, worship, and social action, enabling young people to grow in service to God, Church, community, and one another....
