    John M. Drescher Jr., a lawyer downtown for more than 50 years, died Thursday (June 18, 2009) at his home in Ladue after a lengthy illness. He was 84. Mr. Drescher was a partner in the law firm of Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, working in corporation and business law.
