  • Welcome to Mercy High School, a Catholic school with a tradition of excellence in education in Red Bluff since 1882. Our roots are connected to the Sisters of Mercy who founded our school first as Our Lady of Mercy Academy and today as Mercy High School. We continue to celebrate the Mercy traditions and honor our Mercy history and mission although, since the 1980's, we have been a diocesan school of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sacramento. We are one of five diocesan secondary schools within the Diocese of Sacramento. Mercy High School is a Catholic diocesan, college preparatory school. The objective of the school is to develop the whole person through a nurturing environment in the areas of spiritual and moral formation, intellectual, personal, social, physical and aesthetic development.
