School Notes Overview:
The educational philosophy of Christian Heritage School is based upon a view of reality as presented in the Bible- God has revealed Himself to man through His written Word, the Bible; the living Word Jesus Christ; His creation, nature. Man was created in God's image with a unique capacity to know God. Man is a sinner by nature and, left to himself, faces eternal separation from God. Man must be born again and recreated in God's image through His son, Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit enables the child of God to know that which the natural man can never know. Viewed in this light, the function of Christian school education is to enable the student to see that everything has a direct relationship to a sovereign God. "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein". Once a student establishes his or her personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is then free to open the mind of a student that he may appraise things from a spiritual perspective. Teachers strive to integrate Biblical truth in every academic discipline and thereby guide students in their relationship with God....
