School Notes Overview: |
Our mission is to equip our students to put their Christianity into action today, prepare them to deal with life-issues, and develop their academic abilities through a biblical worldview. Realizing that parents are accountable to God to raise their children in the Lord, Ellensburg Christian School serves as an educational extension of the Christian home and works in conjunction with the local church in the nurturing of children and young people. To maintain a school that is centered in the authority of the Scriptures and person of Jesus Christ. Every aspect of ECS is to be shot through with the character of God. We will train our students to view the whole of life from the Creator's perspective not the creature's point of view. God has created us as intellectual, emotional and willful beings. We have been described as having both mind and heart. At the core of our mission lies the pursuit of knowledge of our triune God. It is not enough to know about God; rather, we desire to know God personally and to love Him with our whole mind. It is the eloquence of the creation which serves as the content and substance for academic curriculum. ...read more
