LI Fox Valley Lutheran: A Veterans Day observance is planned Nov. 11 at Fox Valley Lutheran High School, 5300 N. Meade St., Appleton. Military veterans, their immediate families and current military personnel are invited for a complimentary breakfast served by the FVL Student Council at 8 a.m. A Veterans Day service and program follows in the auditorium at 9:15 a.m.

APPLETON -- Fox Valley Lutheran High School is selling tickets for its pep bus that will be traveling to Uihlein Soocer Park in Milwaukee Friday for the teams 2 p.m. WIAA Division 2 state semifinal boys soccer game against Sparta.

LI Air Force Airman Paige M. Martinez graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. A 2009 graduate of Waupaca High School, she is the daughter of Monte and Shirley Martinez of Waupaca.
