MADISON, Wis. (AP) - In a July 7 story about a state appeals court ruling against Cleveland Lee Sr., the former chief financial officer at Harambee Community School in Milwaukee, The Associated Press incorrectly reported his age as 48. At the time of the decision he was 58.

Nobody's quite sure when people started calling Reuben Harpole "the mayor" in the city's African-American community. He's had other names as well. Some also called him "the connector" and "the source" because of his ability to bring people together and find resources for those in need of contacts or valuable affiliations.
