Our Lady Of Mt Carmel School
School Notes Overview:
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School provides education for grades preK through sixth under the direction of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. We are located adjacent to Columbus Park in Kenosha Wisconsin. We strive to be the light of Christ in the world. We welcome all to attend. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School is multi-ethnic and multi-religious in its student population, houses 141 students in grades PreK - 6, and emphasizes a broad liberal arts education. It is important that a school teaches survival skills for success in our society and provides cultural experiences for gaining more enrichment out of life. Mt Carmel School, along with these qualities, also has a strong Catholic/Christian orientation, thereby, giving students an ethical framework for making decisions that are morally sound. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School offers an academically challenging curriculum to students in Kindergarten through grade six. In a parochial environment we endeavor to teach our students to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ by encouraging them to dedicate themselves and their development of character, integrity and social responsibility to God. Daily community prayer and introspection are a part of fostering the development of community and encouraging service to others. The faculty, staff and parish community, strive to provide a nurturing, Catholic Christian environment for the Our Lady of Mount Carmel students. Recognizing parents as the primary educators, we take the trust they have placed in us very seriously. It is our responsibility to encourage and guide our students to develop spiritually, intellectually, psychologically, physically, and socially, and to become true citizens of the world....
