MANITOWOC The Manitowoc Noon Rotary Club on Thursday honored three local heroes: a Manitowoc firefighter/ paramedic who staved off a knife-wielding assailant and saved the life of a woman whose throat was slit and two Whitelaw sisters who saved their mothers life.
