Trinity Lutheran School
School Notes Overview:
At Trinity Lutheran School, we believe that every child born into this world is first of all God's child, endowed with an immortal soul and destined for eternity; that education of the soul, which prepares the child for eternity, is far more important than education of the mind, which prepares the child for life in this world. We also believe that a child can best learn to live his religion when his religion is part of his daily life and is woven into every day and hour of his school life. It is unrealistic to expect a child to regard religion as important to his daily life, if it is excluded from his school experiences; that a Christian school where every subject is taught from the Christian point of view, related to the teachings of Christianity and permeated with the spirit of Christianity, can be more successful in leading children to a vital Christian life than any other agency, except the Christian home. We believe that a child is not prepared for life in this world until he knows God's plan of salvation and sees himself as a part of that plan also. Only then will he have proper motive and incentive to prepare himself for an active and a useful life of service to God and his fellowman. It is our purpose to bring children to Christ Jesus, their Savior, in order that they may: see Him more clearly, love him more dearly, and follow him more nearly. ...
