Swampscott resident Justine Long has been cast in the international tour of “Fame: The Musical.” She and 20 other cast members will begin rehearsal in Maryland this week in preparation for a five-month tour. In early December, the company will leave for China.
Gun, $10K seized in drug bust (The Salem News)

SALEM and mdash; A two-week investigation of an "established drug dealer" ended in an arrest yesterday at his apartment on Washington. While police found a "small quantity" of drugs in Luis H. Mora-Quinoines' Washington Street apartment, they did retrieve a loaded .25-caliber semi-automatic Beretta handgun, more than $10,000 in cash and two cell phones.
