Calvary Chapel Academy

2955 Minton Road, West Melbourne, FL, 32904
Chapel Christian School began as a preschool in 1999. As a ministry of Calvary Chapel of Melbourne, it was started as an outreach to the community with three and four year old in attendance. Kindergarten was added and joined, during the 2002-2003 school year, by first grade as the first two classes to be held in the brand new C building. It was for the 2003-2004 school year that the elders and pastors were led to grow the school, adding second through sixth grade at one time. The doors to Calvary Chapel Christian School opened in August 2003 with 235 students, up from 79 the previous year. In 2004-2005, seventh grade was added, followed by eighth grade in 2005-2006. On May 21, 2006, CCCS will graduate its first class of eighth graders. The vision of Calvary Chapel Christian School is to raise up multiple generations of godly young people who love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength; who serve Him in both their vocational calling and in the local church; and who worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. As the school has grown in students, it has grown in staff as well. The program boasts a fully equipped Dell computer lab, quality art and music programs, and two levels of physical education classes (K-6 and 7th/8th) that will be held in our state of the art gymnasium opening in spring, 2006. Our athletic program has gotten off the ground during the 2005-2006 school year.
