- Throughout the day, children at G.C.D.S. are placed in groups of similar learning styles and levels of competency where they feel comfortable and are able to succeed. This is made possible by the fact that throughout the grades,reading,language arts,and math are taught at the same time, allowing children to move to different levels for specific subjects. A team of experts - teachers, reading specialist, speech/language pathologist and occupational therapist - come together to focus their expertise for the benefit of each child. The curriculum has both the flexibility to address each child's learning style and the structure to provide a coherent framework of clearly defined goals.
