The British School of Chicago was the fourth of the British Schools of America to open, opening its doors in September 2001. The unique and international style of the school has proven popular and attractive to a wide variety of American, British and international families in the Chicago metro area. Today, BSC's enrolment comprises of approximately 485 students, with the majority being American and British. Over twenty nationalities are represented. The British School of Chicago aims to provide a broadly based and tailored British style education for students from Nursery to Year 12. Delivered by youthful, energetic teachers and staff, BSC's curriculum represents the very best of current practice in the United Kingdom with an international perspective appropriate to its American home.
