The mission of the Benjamin Banneker Preparatory Academy (BBPA) is to equip urban male youth for academic and moral success.

  • Banneker Prep will provide a small school setting with programming that is standards-based, emphasizing the core subjects of English, mathematics, science and social science, specifically designed to address the unique learning needs of males. In addition, daily advisory classes will offer our students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the areas of leadership, conflict resolution, character development, and financial literacy.
