Carden Academy

721 Utica Ave, Huntington Beach, CA, 92648
Carden Academy provides aggressive academics dedicated to a strong phonics based reading program to include language development that creates fluent readers by the end of second grade. We emphasize classical literature at every grade level. At Carden Academy, in an atmosphere of understanding, each child is given a thorough command of scholastic subjects, is awakened to the realization of the beauty of nature and art, becomes conscious of his social responsibility, develops mental, emotional and physical stamina and attains the freedom of a well adjusted personality. We encourage our students to continue their acquisition of knowledge in order to become participating members of our community. Our philosophy is based on the total immersion of children in life experiences, as well as academics. We develop in our students a fascination with the world around them through cross-cultural studies supported by regional field trips to theater productions, special events, and museum.
