Carden Day School Of San Jose strives to nurture and develop the whole child through classic academic structure, rich fine arts, science and technology programs, service opportunities, and an environment filled with respect and humor.  Knowing that artisitc and intellectual expression must come from within, teachers at Carden Day School integrate knowledge from year to year and grade to grade so that information is not isolated, but woven seamlessly.
The students are accustomed to small group instruction in reading and math allowing for maximum attention to be paid to each individual during active instruction, so the child can develop at his/her own rate.
Others are able to work independently, fostering intellectual stamina, developing critical thinking skills and the ability to rely on oneself as well.
Life lessons in courtesy, responsiblity, and gratitude are integrated into our teaching philosophy.
Education is multi-faceted, and Carden Day School celebrates every aspect of knowledge, from academic facts to social graces, and all that's in between.
