The New Horizon School was founded in September 1984.
We are fully licensed and approved by the State of California as a qualified school.
Our school's philosophy is based on the "Developmental Approach", which means teaching skills appropriate for the developmental age of each child.
Learning such skills is best accomplished in an active learning program which promotes experimentation, exploration, and discovery.
We believe academic excellence is best achieved through critical thinking, problem solving, direct instruction, and communication skills.
Growth in social skills through positive peer and adult interaction, with emphasis on Islamic values, will help children develop self esteem, positive self image, and Islamic identity.
