New Path Montessori School

New Path Montessori School is a small private year-round day school. Within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, the children at New Path Montessori School work with unique Montessori materials individually and at their own pace. As they work, they learn to trust their own ability to think and solve problems independently, and learn not to be afraid of making mistakes. The children are also provided the opportunity to work in groups, and with a multitude of other attractive and interesting educational materials which act as extensions and variations of the Montessori ones. All activity, however, is guided by a respect for the teacher, a respect for the work, for fellow students, and a respect for the Montessori materials themselves. Self-discipline is acquired gradually through absorption in meaningful work. The children of high ability level are constantly challenged by a wide variety of materials and their many uses. The Montessori teacher acts as a dynamic link between the child and the prepared environment. By helping the children to pursue their individual interests in our Montessori classroom, the children gain an early enthusiasm for learning.
