St. Rose Academy recognize that proper preparation for class and homework are vital parts of the academic process. Parents and students should understand that this work includes not only worksheets, math problems and unit questions, but also projects, essays, studying reading, reviewing, journaling, memorization, or other assignments. Each of these activities can be a catalyst for student creativity and critical thinking. Homework improves students’ organizational skills, which will, in turn, enable them to be successful in life. The Lab provides an academic atmosphere for students to complete homework assignments, and receive faculty assistance and input. Any student may choose to stay after school to use the Academic Assistance Lab provided they have prior parental permission. ...
