North Kern Christian School is a ministry of the Mennonite Brethren Church of Wasco, which is a ministry division of the Mennonite Brethren Church of Shafter. NKCS is a nondenominational school and is open to all who want a Christian environment and Christ honoring staff and curriculum for their school age children.
