March 15,2013 - I attended Parkridge because my public school had so many problems with violence and drugs. At first I didn''t know if I would like Independent Study or if I would learn much without being in a classroom. I was very suprised. I actually did better without all the distraction and I had my own private teacher who helped me more than you could ever imagine. Their methods are wonderful and my grades came up. I was able to find time for some outside activities that I had wanted to do for a long time, namely tennis and golf as they were part of my P.E. assignments. I graduated with Honors, part time work experience and college credit while I attended high school. I now have a Bachelors degree and tutored other college students who did not have the skills I received at Parkridge. I would highly recommend this school to any looking for a better environment, outstanding program and excellent teachers.*-Posted by Student/Alumni *

If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.
