Holy Family Catholic Academy

2515 Palatine Road, Inverness, IL, 60067
Holy Family Catholic Academy's motto is, "Every child a leader, every child a thinker, and every child grounded in faith." The Academy's "thinking curriculum" uses innovative teaching methods including an integrated curriculum and inquiry learning to connect learning across subject-matter lines. Our approach to teaching includes embedding technology throughout the learning process and teaching children to think, not just learn the answers. Our goal is to teach students to master critical core content, and apply that knowledge to problem solve, collaborate and communicate results.

School Notes:

  • Holy Family Academy "began with the end in mind" and interviewed both public and private high schools to determine the curriculum that would best prepare our students for success in the most challenging high school tracts. Our association with Loyola Academy and Harper College were instrumental in further enhancing our program. Holy Family's preschool and pre-kindergarten classes provide developmentally appropriate programs using the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) guidelines. The curriculum is theme-based, and provides children with a wide range of experiences to enhance and promote each child's learning style. Teachers focus on reaching the whole child – spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
