Community Christian Academy
School Notes Overview:
The mission of Community Christian Academy is to prepare young people for life's challenges through academic excellence, training in the principles of Christian living, Godly morals, leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship. Our philosophy begins with the understanding that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge" (Proverbs 1:7). It is our prayer that each student will establish Jesus Christ as Lord in his/her heart. We emphasize this because we believe successful learning begins when this spiritual foundation is established. When a child enters the classroom with spiritual, emotional, and social areas in their life in turmoil, learning is impeded and problems arise. This is why many children do not want to learn: because those things inherent in their heart provide little motivation. Our aim is to provide environment from which healthy decisions can be made in hopes that it will lead to strong spiritual foundation. CCA views learning as encompassing not only the mental and intellectual, but also the spiritual, physical, social, and body, we see learning as a process in which God can best direct. It is He who sets forth the pattern and principles from which all learning, academic and spiritual, take place....
