The Technology Academy has provided support for young people in the Northern Virginia area who would benefit from a non-traditional approach to their education.
At the Academy students are offered a chance to earn high school credits toward graduation while receiving pre-apprenticeship training and work-study experience.
The Technology Academy provides GED prep, credit recovery, night school, online courses, and summer school.
Students benefit from small group sessions and individual counseling on career and life issues.
The Academy also provides transition support for its graduates who will further their education in a post-secondary environment or who are heading directly into the work force.
