North Houston Baptist School exists as an instrument of North Houston Baptist Church to assist and encourage parents in the training of their children in the truth of God's Word. North Houston Baptist School desires that each child come to know, love and reflect the Lord Jesus Christ. By instructing through academics and extracurricular activities, we give young people the tools necessary to prepare themselves for a life of ministry and usefulness to God. Students are challenged daily to progressively grow in the knowledge of their Lord and Savior. Philosophy of North Houston Baptist School is by providing an academic setting based on the Word of God, NHBS strives to develop character and instill moral values in young people that will enable them to grow spiritually and stand against ungodly influences. Our students are challenged and instructed in the application of Scriptural principles through the curriculum and weekly chapel sessions. The educational philosophies at NHBS are an outgrowth of our view of the Bible as the inspired Word of God. We believe the Bible contains the answers to the needs of the human heart....
