The purpose of Apple Tree Christian Preschool & Kindergarten is to prepare God's children for their lifelong journey of learning by instilling Christian values, developing positive social skills, and encouraging academic success. As a ministry of BUMC, the school is maintained by a Ministry Board made up of ATCPK parents, former parents, and educators, all of whom are members of the church. The board provides continuity, accountability, and support for the school and its staff. The board is also available for parental input and participation. In addition to assisting Mr. Collins with some of the tasks and duties involved in running the school, the board also acts as a liaison between the church, the school, and the community.
