School Notes:

  • TBA uses ABeka curriculum in all grades. This curriculum has been in existence for more than 50 years and has been proven to be one of the best in the nation. Grades K-12 use a DVD teaching program conducted by the master teachers at Pensacola Christian Academy in Pensacola, Florida. The curriculum is more challenging than most public school curriculums. Each subject follows a carefully planned sequence with a Christian emphasis in all grades. Additional teaching materials may be used to supplement the Abeka curriculum. Students watch classes on DVDs. We have a teacher in the classroom to administer tests and to assist students with questions as needed. Tabernacle Baptist Academy uses ONLY the King James Version of the Bible. Each day, lessons from God's word will be taught to the students. Students learn to memorize and quote scripture and will also learn to sing hymns and other Christian songs. TBA's primary goal is to make the Word of God meaningful to the lives of the students. The end result of the goal will be for the students to apply the teachings and principles of the scripture to their lives.
