It is recognized by the Archdiocese of Louisville and respects the proper jurisdiction of the local bishop in matters relevant to instruction in the doctrines and beliefs of the Catholic Faith.
Holy Angels Academy is dedicated to the philosophy of educating the whole person.
This involves the harmonious development of the mental, moral, and volitional powers, and the physical, emotional, and social capabilities of the students to prepare them to lead honorable and useful lives in order to attain the end for which they were created, that is, eternal happiness with God.
Teachers are chosen who are practicing Catholics professing an unswerving loyalty to all the teachings of the Church.

Teachers must meet established criteria to clearly indicate one’s harmony with the academic philosophy as well as the Academy’s philosophy regarding the formation of children.
