The Stevens Point Christian Academy will host an open house and family fun night from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. There will be free popcorn and a scavenger hunt at the kindergarten through 12th grade school at 801 Cty. Rd. HH West, Stevens Point. The school is accepting enrollments for the 2010-11 school year. Sixteen-year-old Daniel Mallek of Stevens Point Christian Academy said his future is more financially stable after a few days in the schools new finance course. He said he couldnt believe the positive impact investing makes. I never knew you could make so much money in investments, he said, citing an example from the course. After the 2007-08 school year, the Stevens Point Christian Academy had only 28 students. Two of those were high school students.
