The teachers of Cornerstone Montessori School value and support the natural creativity of children in a variety of ways. In the Preprimary classroom, there is a rich Art environment full of materials for spontaneous, creative expression. Elementary and full-day Kindergarten students have weekly Art instruction, in addition to creative experiences integrated with their Cultural studies. The Elementary classrooms encourage creative writing through weekly Writing Workshop, as well as daily opportunities for creative writing. Our teachers are trained to observe and identify each child’s unique learning capabilities.
