The Sandwich Montessori School is dedicated to providing an outstanding learning environment for children between the ages of 2 years 9 months and 12 years. The school is dedicated to the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, and follows a philosophy of child-centered education with an accent on the arts. Our goal is for each child to fulfill his or her potential in a safe, caring and challenging environment. The Sandwich Montessori School provides a stimulating environment for children to learn and express themselves with an emphasis on self-esteem. Sandwich Montessori is a firmly established Montessori school dedicated to providing a quality educational experience for children (2.9-12) in a caring well equipped environment that is conducive to learning. The classes are multiage grouped with Montessori trained teachers and a low child to teacher ratio. The school has enjoyed steady growth over the years as we meet the needs of our children and families. Our latest expansion includes a new Children’s House classroom and the addition of an Upper Elementary classroom with new computers.
