Little Theatre Nursery and Kindergarten was founded in 1944 as a program teaching music and drama to young children. This tradition continues today with our music program taught by Music Director, Barbara Moore. This program combines singing, drama, instruments and movement. Each class enjoys their own weekly music class filled with fun and learning. Our curriculum, for children age two years nine months through six, is based on the belief that children are natural learners and will do best in an environment filled with challenging activities. Our program aims to expand a child’s world by helping each student acquire new knowledge and skills, make and nurture friendships, and to learn about sharing, cooperation and fairness. With small classes we are able to know each child well and adapt curriculum for the learner. The importance of your child’s teacher cannot be overstated as she will play an important role in your child’s day.
