Happy Hollow Children's Center provides an exciting preschool, kindergarten and school age academic program with an extended focus on environmental learning. Our school program is set within a unique indoor/outdoor environment which promotes, nurtures, and supports the active construction of knowledge, the individual expression of creativity and the exploration of ideas and concepts in relation to the academic disciplines, the arts and environmental education. Our natural setting offers two unique playgrounds, a large organic garden (with a green house, a compost bin and a worm bin), a ceramic pottery program that includes a kiln and pottery wheel, nature paths and a focus on learning through hands on exploration with nature. At Happy Hollow Children's Center we partner with parents and community members to create a nurturing and enriching environment in which children discover and grow in healthy and unique ways. We foster self-esteem and provide children with opportunities to fall in love with learning and safely explore the natural world in our gardens and woodland setting.
