Beautiful Beginnings Child Care Center
School Notes Overview:
Since opening our doors in 1999, Beautiful Beginnings has been under the direction of Khadija Lewis Khan, MEd, Executive Director. Our current director is Melissa Deitrick, BS Early Childhood. Beautiful Beginnings offers Infant and Toddler classrooms, as well as Department of Education certified Pre-School and Kindergarten classrooms. We provide breakfast, lunch and snacks daily. We are in a beautiful new location designed specifically for early education. We are an Early Reading First Partner site with Ready to Learn Providence. This program focuses on literacy and language acquisition to prepare each child for success in Kindergarten. We are also a partner in the Children's Network with Meeting Street to provide support services to our families. At Beautiful Beginnings we work hard to stay current on the most up-to-date teaching methods. In each class there is a certified teacher and all staff attend on-going training throughout the year. Each day there's plenty of opportunity for children to discover the exciting world around them. We place equal importance on the social and emotional growth of children at this early age and we believe this balance is critical in their overall development....
