Founded in 1985, The Bearrington Academy is widely recognized as a strong Christian preparatory school. Bearrington provides spiritual, academic, social, and physical development in a disciplined environment. Our commitment to education is rooted in the vision of the schools' founders, Johnnie and Billye Moutra. The mission of Bearrington School is to provide an educational environment that embodies the Christian faith and encourages students to reach their academic potentials and achieve their personal best. By fostering mutual respect and cooperation, the school will enable each child to develop a sense of self-worth, independence, responsibility and self direction. Bearrington School will be as inclusive and diverse as the population of our great city and surrounding Fort Bend cities and assessable to the average citizen. Bearrington Academy believes in citizens of character who exemplify the fruits of a trained mind. To carry out its mission, it shall be the philosophy of the school to provide a learning environment where: Children are enthusiastic about learning.
