Founded in 1989, the Portland French School (PFS) also known as the French American School of the Pacific Northwest is a non-profit, independent, educational corporation recognized under section 501(C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. PFS is administered by a Board of Directors which oversees the policies and finances of the school. The Portland French School is an international bilingual school offering a French language immersion program in a nurturing and culturally diverse learning environment.
