School Notes:
Canterbury school, founded in 1977 is an independent coeducational day school offering a college preparatory education to students in early childhood through grade 12. The High School curriculum consists of regular academic courses that meet five times a week for a full year or one semester, as well as Advanced Placement (AP) courses that have extra academic demands, carry an increased class-period equivalency and sometimes require additional class time. Students earn grades in all courses, and progress reports are sent home after each quarter. The Canterbury Middle School curriculum includes an advisor program, developed to ensure each student receives the individual attention necessary to successfully complete the Middle School program and to promote the shared values of the Canterbury community.
