Landmark Elementary And Middle School
School Notes Overview:
Landmark School was founded in 1971 by Charles “Chad” Drake with the goal of educating students whose reading, writing, spelling, and mathematical skills did not match their thinking and problem-solving capacities. Landmark provides a safe and positive academic environment with programs structured to support students with dyslexia and help them acquire and improve their academic and social skills. We carefully assess each student and design individually tailored programs to address the student's strengths and weaknesses. Landmark's curriculum starts with our students. Students are grouped by ability, rather than traditional grade levels and move steadily through a carefully planned curriculum that allows them to build confidence and experience success. Landmark School’s mission is to enable and empower students with language-based learning disabilities to realize their educational and social potential through an exemplary school program complemented by outreach and training, diagnosis, and research. ...
