KEITH WHITCOMB JR. BENNINGTON -- After enlisting in the armed forces at age 17, going to war at 18, and becoming a Green Beret at 24, a Manchester soldier was presented in September with the Bronze Star, the Commendation Medal with Valor Device, and the Non Article 5 NATO Medal of Service.
