VES is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory boarding and day school for students in grades 9 – 12.
VES’ mission remains true to when the school was founded 100 years ago – to know students individually and help each grow Toward Full Stature.

Naval Academy, Georgetown, UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, the College of William & Mary, and Wake Forest. Set on 160 acres in Lynchburg, Virginia at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the school has a vibrant student life program and is located within a three hour drive to Washington, DC, and two hours to Richmond, Va., and Greensboro, NC.
