Da Vinci Academy provides intellectually gifted and talented students a unique educational community that develops a student's strengths, interests and potential. We offer a challenging curriculum focusing on the learning process, personal growth and self-direction enabling students to become productive leaders in an ever changing society Da Vinci's teachers and staff are committed to providing an exceptional experience for students who are highly talented, intellectually curious, and enthusiastically seeking new avenues for personal growth and development. Heading into its tenth school year, Da Vinci has grown from a dream into an outstanding independent school serving 130 students. Da Vinci also offers a full range of activities beyond the classroom. Our chess team has quickly developed into one of the top programs in the state, and our students also participate in clubs and teamn sports. A strong drama program is an integral part of the curriculum for all middle school students. When the Jurss' phone rang on the first day of their summer vacation, Michelle Jurss thought the caller was trying to sell her something. She'd forgotten that, earlier this year, she'd entered an online contest from Lands' End to win her son's school, the Da Vinci Academy, $10,000, and her son a $10,000 college savings bond.

Imagine buying a new car. Now, on top of that, imagine paying the same amount each year to keep your children in school. This is an expense that some parents are willing to pay to send their children to private school. In a shifting economy, some parents are making the sacrifices, and others have no choice but to reluctantly pull their children out in an effort to stay afloat financially.
