Last Sunday, the 114-year-old Ringwood Presbyterian Church voted to close its doors, a victim to dwindling congregation. The church started in a saloon more than a century ago and grew with the times numbering as many as 100 members at one time.

Northern Oklahoma College Associate degrees in Arts, Science and Applied Science were awarded to 100 Enid students at the close of the spring semester. A total of 427 graduates completed requirements for their degrees during this term.

An Enid woman was injured Friday night on U.S. 81 north of Medford when she fell asleep at the wheel, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Enid High School Big Blue band camp is Monday through Aug. 7, with all band students in grades 10-12 attending. Full band rehearsals are 8-11 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. and guard and percussion rehearsals are 8-11 a.m. and noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday both weeks.
